Helping people discover and fulfil their Destiny in Christ Jesus.
    Mission:
    Destiny's House will be relevant to the present
    culture or world we live in.  We will help people
    shift over from a spectator, theater style
    service to a participative, activated, lab-setting
    service.  We will help members develop in the
    10 spiritual gifts of I Corinthians 12-13.  
    Members will be empowered to minister to one
    another during the service as led by the Holy
    Spirit, after the Church model given in the
    book of Acts.  

    While we respect the traditions set down in
    Church history, the service style will always be
    fluid and not static or boring, but directed by
    the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit will be
    uninhibited by programs, traditions,
    properness, time limits, style, controlling
    people, individual theology or theological
    debate.  

    We will help people not only get Saved and set
    free through Christ, but also provide a home
    or support system, family, in order to support
    and sustain their spiritual growth.
    Ephesians 3:17-21
    May Christ through your faith actually
    dwell (settle down, abide, make His
    permanent home) in your hearts! May you
    be rooted deep in love and founded
    securely on love, That you may have the
    power and be strong to apprehend and
    grasp with all the saints (God's devoted
    people, the experience of the love) what is
    the breadth and length and height and
    depth (of it); (That you may really come to
    know (practically, through experience for
    yourselves) the love of Christ, which far
    surpasses mere knowledge (without
    experience); that you may be filled
    (through all your being) unto all the
    fullness of God (may have the richest
    measure of the divine Presence, and
    become a body wholly filled and flooded
    with God himself)! Now to Him Who, by (in
    consequence of ) the (action of His) power
    that is at work within us, is able to (carry
    out His purpose and) do super
    abundantly, far over and above all that we
    (dare) ask or think (infinitely beyond our
    highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes,
    or dreams) - To Him be glory in the church
    and in Christ Jesus throughout all
    generations forever and ever.
    Amen (so be it).
The power of the LAB Setting      
          Church Service:
    To encourage people to be free to
    grow, take chances and try new things
    in a supportive environment in order to
    become Spirit Led and less "flesh" led.  
    In today's culture, people need to be
    able to contribute in a meaningful way,
    and not just be a spectator during the
    service.  This activates people instead
    of leaving them mostly passive.

                                         Beliefs

  • We believe in the God the Father, the God of the Bible who is Eternal.

  • We believe Jesus Christ of Nazareth was born of the virgin Mary.  He is
    the Savior of the world, the Word who was made flesh and dwelled
    among us.  He is the only begotten Son of God who lived a sinless life,
    died for mankind and was resurrected. We believe He will return to
    Earth.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is the Comforter spoken of by Jesus. The Holy
    Spirit is evidenced by the Fruit of the Spirit and Spirit-filled Christians
    have access to the Gifts of the Spirit.

  • We believe the entire Bible, Old and New Testament, is the inspired
    Word of God.  It is the written Word of God and is profitable for
    doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness.

  • We believe in a literal resurrection from death.

  • We believe the Body of Christ is comprised of servants of Jesus Christ.
    Members will want to become more Christ-like.

  • We believe salvation is by grace through faith, and not of works.  

  • We believe disciples of Jesus Christ will preach the Gospel of Jesus
    Christ, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, in all the world.

  • We believe all churches have conflicts which arise, but in the multitude
    of counsel and strong leadership/outside accountability, conflicts will
    be resolved.

  • We believe all doctrines and beliefs are to be based in the Holy Bible.  
    All revelation, word of knowledge, preaching, prophecy, or new insights
    will never contradict the Word of Scripture.  

  • We believe doctrines or beliefs should not be obtained by "cherry-
    picking" particular scriptures while excluding or down playing others.l
    Tithing Testimony (2.4.08)

    I am now making twice as much as I did
    at my previous job.  I had heard stories
    of people being blessed beyond measure
    because of their giving but I always
    thought, "Well, God provided for them,
    but I don't know if He'll do it for me."
      
    One of the main reasons why I think
    God blessed me so much is because I
    was faithful in my giving.  Sometimes I
    thought I couldn't afford it ... but the
    truth was that I couldn't afford not to.

    If I could encourage anyone, I would say
    that giving as much as God leads, even
    when you're not sure where your next
    meal is coming from, will help you in your
    faith.  God will bless.  He is not a man
